
Dr. Justina Šidlauskaitė
Dr. Justina Šidlauskaitė is a cognitive neuroscientist and experimental psychologist with extensive international academic and industry experience. She completed her PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience and Experimental Psychology at Ghent University (Belgium) and has held several postdoctoral positions in Belgium and the UK, specialising in advanced neuroimaging methods and brain network research.
Her scientific work has focused on understanding the neural mechanisms underlying attention, executive functioning, mood disorders, ADHD, and behavioral regulation across the lifespan. She has extensive expertise in functional and structural MRI, diffusion imaging, and EEG methodologies, and her research has been published in leading international journals, including NeuroImage, Psychological Medicine, Aging, and the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
In addition to her academic career, Dr. Šidlauskaitė has gained valuable experience in the high-technology sector, working in international companies and specialising in human factors engineering and human – technology interaction. This interdisciplinary background allows her to integrate neuroscience, psychology, and technological innovation in a uniquely comprehensive way.
At Neuropulsas Clinic, she combines her scientific and technological expertise to optimize repetitive transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) therapy. Her approach is grounded in a deep understanding of brain network functioning and individualized treatment planning, ensuring precise targeting and maximal therapeutic effectiveness.
